The venue
A real emblem of the tournament and of Roland-Garros stadium, Philippe-Chatrier court is one of the world’s most legendary tennis courts. Inaugurated in 1928, it is also one of the oldest, but has always managed to move with the times. Renovated in 2020, this “Centre Court” is now a shining example of modernity, with its 15,000 seats, multiple courtside boxes and retractable roof, but has nevertheless retained all of its authenticity.

Located in the very heart of Roland-Garros stadium, Philippe-Chatrier court is the central hub of the site, positioned right next to the Mousquetaires Gardens.
